The Races
The 2015 races took place on March 28, 2015. The date for 2016 has not yet been set. Check back in the future for updates, or like our Facebook page to make sure you receive all race notifications.
At the Western PA Endurance Fest, four separate races are held : 25k solo, 50k solo, 25k relay, and 50k relay. The races consist of multiple loops of a 5k trail course. This race has a unique "choose your own adventure" feature where runners decide which direction to run their loops. All runners begin the race by running a counter-clockwise loop around the park. The course is challenging as each loop boasts 600 feet of elevation gain for a total of 3000 ft for the 25k and 6000 ft for the 50k races. (Click here to see the elevation profile.) There is an aid station every 3.1 miles.
